Jeff Sauvage, PGA
A PGA Professional for 15 years, Jeff Sauvage brings extensive experience at a variety of facility types and club structures. Previously he worked with Troon Golf Management, the world’s largest operator of luxury golf courses and clubs in more than 30 countries. Mr. Sauvage was attracted to The North Sound Golf Club by the challenge of guiding the transformation of the North Sound Golf Club into one of the Caribbean’s finest golf experiences.
Erick Fowler, PGA
Director of Golf
Erick Fowler was born and raised in North Carolina, USA. A self-taught golfer, who began playing when he was 14, earned his membership into the PGA in 2013. For the last 5 years he worked as the First Assistant Golf Professional at The Clubs at St. James Plantation, the largest Troon Privé managed facility boasting 81 holes of championship golf. Erick’s curiosity of the Caribbean and desire to tackle a new challenge, led him to North Sound Golf Club. He is looking forward to bringing his love for the game, past knowledge & experiences and a true “Southern Charm” to the NSGC Team!
Erick has been providing instruction to all skill levels for 5+years. He looks forward to helping grow the game of golf to all future students through helping them reach their own personal obtainable goals by keeping it simple, fun and most importantly enjoyable! In his spare time, Erick enjoys spending time with his wife Maggie, working on his game (as well as hers) and learning the Grand Cayman Island “Lifestyle!”
Brad deSchiffert, PGA of Canada
After spending 10 years working the golf industry in Canada it was time for Brad DeSchiffert to move south and join the crew at NSGC. While working here at North Sound, Brad obtained his teaching certificate with the PGA of Canada in August 2013. Since getting his pro card he has been teaching all types of players with all different levels of ability. Brad’s specialty on island has been teaching children to play golf and helping them to find the passion for the game. Brad’s After-School Junior Golf Camps have taken off, hosting up near 55 kids per month.
Robert Chilman, WTGF
A long-time resident of the Cayman Islands, Robert received his credentials from the World Golf Teachers Federation in 1999 but retained his amateur status until joining our staff last year. Robert has had an illustrious amateur career, highlighted by bringing home the Caribbean Senior team trophy in 2003 & 2004, and winning the Bahamas Open in both the Men’s & Senior Men’s amateur divisions. Robert was a member of the Cayman Golf team every year from 1994 until turning pro.
